Our Perfume studio
Richard FRAYSSE works on his creations around a perfume organ made especially for him by Patrick ALES.
There are no limits imposed on his creativity and he selects his own base materials. He evaluates the quality of the harvest, comparing lavender from different regions, delicately-scented roses, newly discovered synthetic materials and, most importantly, the kinds of natural materials that are so rarely used today…
The concentrates are created under strict surveillance in our studios. Bulgarian Rose, a feature in the company’s famous powders, is distilled on site.
At the time of bottling, expert hands still master the delicate techniques of baudruchage as well as the insertion of that golden thread.

Our Powder Studio

Today, our famous “Poudre Peau Fine” is still made to the good sound practices of the same exclusive manufacturing process as when first created in the 1930’s.
All the originality of this inimitable secret formula comes from the quality of the base materials used; the Bulgarian Rose scent and the “multi-sifting” that makes it the finest of loose powders.
The machines dreamed up by the inventors of this process are in use –– now more than ever –– in our workshops.
Each item is then meticulously checked and each metal powder compact individually polished before packaging.
