Driven by an insatiable desire for unprecedented fragrances, CARON, in 1939, discovers a whole new universe, hitherto unknown in the world of perfumery: the Garden of the Hesperides.
Defying the Hesperides nymph guardians of this fabled place, CARON steals the secret of immortality from the Greek gods: the famous "golden apples". Thus ALPONA is born, associating flowers, for the first time, with lemon and grapefruit.
