Our perfumer Jean Jacques carefully selects the raw materials of our creations. He looks for ingredients that are both olfactory sublime and in harmony with our convictions. The House of CARON thus works for a responsible and committed luxury, in tune with the times.
CARON is a partner of the Monique Remy Naturals Laboratory to develop its palette of beautiful raw materials. Its mission is to work in direct contact with partners around the world to find natural and sustainable ingredients of the highest quality.
Lavender from France, orange blossom from Tunisia, sandalwood from New Caledonia, vetiver from Haiti, and patchouli from Indonesia…We have selected five of our favorite ingredients, which have a special place in our perfumer’s palette.
Follow us on a world tour of some of CARON’s most precious ingredients.

LAVENDER
Natural lavender is an essential ingredient in the history of the House of CARON. It is overdosed at 61% in Pour Un Homme de CARON.
In order to guarantee the unparalleled quality and traceability of our creations, the House of CARON collaborates with Jérôme BOENLE, a lavender producer based in Sault, Provence.
All the lavender essence from France used in the production of the Trilogy Pour Un Homme de CARON is harvested exclusively from his fields.
A meaningful partnership that reflects CARON’s craftsmanship and heritage, a House renowned for using the most beautiful lavenders in its fragrances.
THE ROSE
Discover the Rose from Turkey, certified For Life.
Rose at CARON
Flowery and lemony, our rose essence embodies the exceptional quality of our ingredients. It is sourced from a responsible, certified For Life channel in Isparta.
This certification, awarded by Ecocert, only recognises organisations that meet certain specific sustainability criteria, such as transparency, environmental responsibility, fair working conditions and positive relationships with local producers.
ORANGE BLOSSOM
The orange flower comes from the « Bigaradier », also called the bitter orange tree or Seville orange tree in English. Its perfume, soft and delicate, powdery but also floral, embodies the candor of childhood as well as women’s sensuality.
Orange blossom at CARON
The House of CARON has built a long-term partnership developed by LMR with « Les Vergers de Tunisie », a company recognized internationally for its production of high-quality ingredients.
We contribute to implement better cultivation practices, to improve yields, wages, and reduce the environmental footprint. We have also established farming contracts and traceability with local farmers, ensuring them a fair and stable price for their crops.
Hand-picked in April, orange blossom is an ingredient dear to our House.

VETIVER
Working closely with Haitian vetiver producers.
Vetiver at CARON
In 2020, CARON perfumes got involved with the Vetiver Forward project by the non-profit organisation Heifer International, a non-profit NGO whose goal is to eradicate poverty and famine. This partnership supports more than 3,000 Veitver farmers via six cooperatives. This 10% overdosed ingredient is found in our AIMEZ-MOI COMME JE SUIS fragrance, as well as Vétiver Infini.
This initiative allows farmers to strengthen their negotiating power on the market and to earn additional income in order to improve their standard of living in the long term. This also supports sustainable agricultural practices by preserving the health of the soils and biodiversity.
