This story unfolds in a mysterious, hidden sanctum off a buzzing street. There, sheltered from the chaos, a radiant warmth emanates from the ancient oud wood burning slowly.

The crackling wood and its fragrant threads of smoke infuse the moment with an ancestral aura. Time seems to stand still. Everything is in its place. Before us, a silhouette interprets the traces left by coffee grounds in the cup. This divinatory art is called tasseography. Speaking in entrancing tones, it foretells the future, transporting us through a whirlwind into another spacetime where alternate realities collide. Senses are subverted; worlds and times are transcended. Dreams surpass reality, blending the mystic and the sacred.

In harmony with this unexpected fusion, the composition reveals its most captivating qualities. The richness of cistus absolute LMR, a resin infused with captivating amber nuances, accentuates the elegance of oud. A blend of birch, Atlas cedar, and papyrus wood essences introduces a subtle yet warm leathery depth. Meanwhile, the fresh cardamom essence elevates the coffee, evoking the allure of Middle Eastern traditions. Adding to the intrigue is natrotar, an exclusive molecule that unveils the deepest, smokiest facets of the blend, while robuston highlights its most nuanced toasted notes. Finally, CARON's iconic Bulgarian rose delicately embraces the composition, adding a final touch of sophistication.

Maison CARON has sourced its oud wood from a plantation in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. Its partner has been assessed by UEBT (Union for Ethical BioTrade), with the aim of building a responsible supply chain that respect people and biodiversity. It follows a generous approach rooted in reality, perfectly in line with the Maison’s own values.

Refillability

In the early 80s, CARON was the first perfume house to offer bottles that could be refilled in-store. The fountains, masterpieces of craftsmanship made from Baccarat or Daum crystal, embody this heritage.

Today, CARON offers the opportunity to continue this ritual at home. The bottles from the Collection Merveilleuse and Aimez-Moi Comme Je Suis can be refilled both in-store and at home.

An aluminum refill, available in 100 or 125ml, allows you to refill your bottle using a pouring spout. An endless gesture to enjoy your favorite fragrance while respecting the environment.
