The rose, Ernest DALTROFF’s favourite flower, not only inspired some of CARON’s most iconic perfumes, it is also used in one of its greatest innovations – powder!
Radiant and delectable, Bulgarian Rose leaves a delightful fragrance on the skin.
Specially developed for dry and sensitive skin, the “Transparentes” powders are enriched with emollient agents and mica micro-particles. They leave the skin soft and silky, and ensure that the make-up looks natural and completely sheer. The complexion is even and radiant.
CARON’s powders contain no preservatives. They are enriched with zinc oxide for its great covering and anti-bacterial properties, as well as magnesium, which ensures a radiant complexion.

Story
For more than a century, the House of CARON has brought its expertise to complexion beauty.
In 1908, the House launched Pompon Poudre, a scented rice powder. Packaged in envelopes designed to be pressed directly onto the skin, this travel-friendly powder was a small revolution. But our greatest success remains the 1930s-era conception and perfection of two powder formulas of unparalleled finesse: Madame Peau Fine and Mademoiselle Peau Fraîche, obtained through a method that remains unchanged and is still a secret today.
Made in France, the CARON’s powders are made up of natural minerals that are crushed, sifted and blended as many times as necessary to produce the most free-flowing loose powder.
Two Formulas
CARON’s powder matifies, evens, and illuminates the complexion. It comes in two formulas: “Les Classiques” and “Les Transparentes”.
"Les Classiques" formula is designed for normal to combination skin types. It contains kaolin, which absorbs excess sebum and ensures mattifying coverage.
Designed for dry and sensitive skin, "Les Transparentes" formula contains light-reflecting mica micro-particles and emollients agents, leaving the skin silky and soft. Make-up is light and natural, the complexion luminous.
Application Tips
Apply CARON powder over a fresh, cleansed skin, on a day cream or foundation.
Our application tips for an even, matte complexion:
Step 1: Fix the sieve over the powder.
Step 2: Take up a little powder with the CARON powder puff.
Step 3: Lightly press the powder all over the face, starting with the T-zone.
Step 4: Dust off any excess using a kabuki brush.
For a lighter make-up, follow the steps using a kabuki brush.
J'ai commandé la poudre Caron car elle ne se trouve plus chez les parfumeurs les plus répandus (hélas!),pour ne pas les citer Nocibé,Marionnaud. Livraison ultra rapide,colis impeccable! Et quel produit: douceur et finesse extrêmes,parfum subtil et envoûtant, un couvrant léger si naturel,j'y suis accro depuis mes 20 ans - j'en ai 72- et pour longtemps encore. Ne changez rien!

Cette poudre est toujours parfaite !
Mais, petit bémol, depuis l'année dont je parle, la quantité a beaucoup diminué, et le prix a considérablement augmenté !
Enfin, la maison CARON continuera de porter très haut la qualité de sa poudre libre !

J'utilise cette poudre depuis très longtemps, cette nuance pour l'hiver, parfaite pour ma peau claire de blonde. En été j'utlise Madame, un peu plus foncée. Les deux présentent une texture très fine, délicatement parfumée. Un bonheur longue durée...
