Description

Do eternity and modernity have anything to say each other? Clearly, yes! In this amber fragrance, the creamy notes of benzoin meld into a luxurious and enveloping blend of opulent ingredients: vanilla and musk. A medley of joyful flowers enhance the rose note. Soft rose, lilac and violet contrast with opulent benzoin. The result is a beautiful conversation between these contrasting ingredients.

To go far, you have to aim farther. Take it from us—our experience is proof! At CARON, we’ve pushed the limits of Haute Parfumerie by setting our sights on infinity. We’ve shaken up codes and led real revolutions. Without a healthy dose of extravagance, our founder Ernest DALTROFF would never have established CARON as a legend. And he knew it! In 1941, his megalomania inspired him to create Royal Bain de Champagne, composed exclusively to satisfy the whims of a Californian billionaire who wanted to replace his extravagant champagne baths.

DID YOU KNOW? Frankincense, myrrh, benzoin... Royal Bain contains ingredients that have been used since time immemorial. These three resins in particular are found in most known recipes for kyphi, the sacred incense that the priests of Ancient Egypt – known to be great perfumers – made and burned in honour of the god Re, four thousand years ago. It’s an impressive number, wouldn’t you say?

C’est un parfum que j’appellerais, jubilatoire, une ode à la bonne humeur. Sur moi, les notes florales s’évaporent assez rapidement et c’est le benjoin et l’opoponax qui prennent le relais avec un côté miellé, musqué dans lequel je baigne avec délice. La tenue est bonne, la projection aussi mais ce qui est appréciable, c’est que vous le sentez vous-même dès que vous bougez un peu. Pour moi, ce parfum donne le sourire, bref je l’aime depuis des années.

I've always loved Caron since my grandmother used to wear Tabac Blond. All Classic perfume is very good and this one is just like it! Too bad there is no Spray versão. The bottle, the scent, the story behind it, the notes...brings you back in time. ❤️

One idea for Maison de Caron

It would be great if the “Royal Bain de Caron” was produced as a shower gel in the same flacon form but only in a plastic bottle, all the more so the name speaks for itself, and it was originally in the form of a bath fragrance/foam in 1923, if I remember correctly..
