For more than a century, the House of CARON has brought its expertise to complexion beauty.
In 1908, the House launched Pompon Poudre, a scented rice powder. Packaged in envelopes designed to be pressed directly onto the skin, this travel-friendly powder was a small revolution. But our greatest success remains the 1930s-era conception and perfection of two powder formulas of unparalleled finesse: Madame Peau Fine and Mademoiselle Peau Fraîche, obtained through a method that remains unchanged and is still a secret today.
Made in France, the CARON’s powders are made up of natural minerals that are crushed, sifted and blended as many times as necessary to produce the most free-flowing loose powder.
“Les Classiques” formula is designed for normal to combination skin types. It contains kaolin, which absorbs excess sebum and ensures mattifying coverage.
Designed for dry and sensitive skin, “Les Transparentes” formula contains light-reflecting mica micro-particles and emollients agents, leaving the skin silky and soft. Make-up is light and natural, the complexion luminous.
Apply CARON semi-loose powder over a fresh, cleansed skin, on a day cream or foundation. Inside its compact case, you can take it with you for touch-ups throughout the day.
Our application tips for an even, matte complexion:
Step 1: Release the powder using the half-moon provided brush in light circular movements.
Step 2: Dust the powder across the T-zone.
Step 3: Sweep over the face, working from the inside outwards.
