Story

Crystal-clear notes ring out and travel through the pure air, bouncing off water-laden moss. A light mist blends the colors. The pinks of the flowers interlace with the greens of climbing stems. The blues of the sky blur into the silvery greys of the clouds. Once again, pure sounds resonate.Amid the tangled foliage, a graceful, joyful silhouette stirs. A few damp petals adorn her fresh skin like soft-hued ornaments. She plays on the iridescent water droplets as though on a great crystalophone. The sparkling rays of dawn reflect off them an echo of boundless vitality.

Fragrance

Aquatic and fresh, the rose, in delightful excess, is embraced by the sensual touch of jasmine. Vegetal cucumber notes, laced with a fruity peach accord, surprise and transform it, offering a delicious sense of the unexpected. Here, the rose turns crisp, kissed by water’s caress. It yields to the effervescent joy of bergamoessences. Cedar and white musks gracefully extend the sensation of well-being. A natural composition, radiant with crystalline brilliance.

In the early 80s, CARON was the first perfume house to offer bottles that could be refilled in-store. The fountains, masterpieces of craftsmanship made from Baccarat or Daum crystal, embody this heritage.

Today, CARON offers the opportunity to continue this ritual at home. The bottles from the Collection Merveilleuse and Aimez-Moi Comme Je Suis can be refilled both in-store and at home.

I bought this as soon as it was available. I have many vintage Caron fragrances and have been a fan of this house for decades. Rose Croquante is a fragrance I like better over time, so I recommend giving it some time. At first it was a sharp, green floral but now that I've owned it for a year it's wearing more like a chypre. This is also long lasting; I detect it for the entire day. I recommend sampling this, it is unique

A YOUNG AND DIMENSIONAL FLORAL

Rose Croquant is a very fresh but also a dimensional multi-layer floral. The cucumber comes dominant after the first few hours, but the rose and a fruit aspect stays relevant as well too. The deep base gives it dimension, giving this fragrance a strong but always playful aspect.
