Inspired by a historical Caron piece dating from 1908, this piece revisits the object that once held the House’s first shaving soap stick. A creation of heritage, now reinterpreted through a freer material expression.
Shaped from solid metal, the cylinder is adorned with a subtly raised face, discreetly modelled into the surface. Small nickel-plated bronze bumblebees, soldered by hand, vitalize the piece, imbuing it with an almost weightless presence.
