Story
In a spacious room bathed in amber light, molten copper chandeliers cast golden halos. Mounds of sand house slender candles, their flames illuminating oval tables and deep, sunken sofas. Ancient secrets and wisdom are whispered in the alcoves. Silhouettes with bright smiles and honey-coloured hair dance across the space, adorned with iridescent fabrics and sculptural jewellery. One in particular captivates those around her with her hieratic profile and imposing stature. She has a message for each person, a sparkle in her eye. As if from afar, a radiant calm settles around her.
Fragrance
Pois de Senteur combines a plethora of natural ingredients to recreate the springtime scent of sweetpeas. It opens with a fresh and sweet note, thanks to jasmine absolute. The softness of its petals is illuminated by the sunny radiance of ylang-ylang and the green accents of a daffodil absolute. A rich and complex fragrance, its rounder accents, carried by the sweet and enveloping aroma of honey, are reinforced by blackcurrant and orange blossom absolutes. Pois de Senteur is the rare and luminous scent of a sovereign presence.
Olfactory Memory
CARON’s founders nurtured a passion for flowers, particularly sweet peas. Félicie Wanpouille would plant them in her garden and use them to decorate her living rooms. Ernest Daltroff marvelled at their vibrant yet delicate scent. He dreamed of creating a perfume from this species, for which no essence existed.With the help of other ingredients, he was able to recreate the scent.The fragrance was launched in 1927 under the nameLes Pois de Senteur de chez Moi, chosen by Félicie. This fragrance reflects the virtuosity of its creator and the excellence of his technique applied to an artistic vision.
Refillability
In the early 80s, CARON was the first perfume house to offer bottles that could be refilled in-store. The fountains, masterpieces of craftsmanship made from Baccarat or Daum crystal, embody this heritage.
Today, CARON offers the opportunity to continue this ritual at home. The bottles from the Collection Merveilleuse and Aimez-Moi Comme Je Suis can be refilled both in-store and at home.
An aluminum refill, available in 100 or 125ml, allows you to refill your bottle using a pouring spout. An endless gesture to enjoy your favorite fragrance while respecting the environment.
