In 1952, the House of CARON had the idea of capturing the scent of a sunny day. This 1st of May, it is launching a soliflore fragrance inspired by the tender, delicate scent of lily of the valley. A perfect gift for Parisians staying in the city.

Gifting a lily of the valley on the 1st of May brings good luck to its recipient. In 1561, Charles IX was the first to offer the ladies of the court a sprig of this flower, brought from Italy, as a gesture of good luck.
Long confined to the aristocracy, this custom became popular in the early 1900s.
