Candle l'Atelier d'Ernest
70,00 € Regular price Save Liquid error (product-template line 193): -Infinity%Testimonies have been found in the Caron archives describing the atmosphere in the workshop where Ernest would retire to dream up his designs, a place full of history and emotions, halfway between a cabinet of curiosities, a library and a design studio. In this sanctuary presided over by his wooden perfume organ, Ernest had assembled a collection of precious objects brought back from his many travels. Ambergris, musk, spices and dried flowers were lined up on his desk in glass jars.
The aromas of waxed Haussmann-era parquet flooring and burnt wood mingled with the scents of the perfume blotters freshly imbued with the fragrances he was developing.

Candle Madame
70,00 € Regular price Save Liquid error (product-template line 193): -Infinity%As Ernest’s right hand from 1906 to 1940, the year the founder went into exile in the United States, Félicie Wanpouille was much more than just a muse, largely contributing to the development of the House’s reputation.
She was passionate about fashion and design, and became the life force behind Caron, designing a bottle, finding a name, and coming up with the communication for each creation.
A true businesswoman, “Madame”, as she was nicknamed by her closest colleagues, headed up the House from 1940 to 1962, running the company and fighting to avoid it being lost and having to close during the war.
Félicie was a free-spirited, independent woman with a sharp mind, yet under her hard outer shell was a sensitive, delicate soul.
All the duality of her personality is revealed in this candle where bergamot, rhubarb, peony, violet, sandalwood and musk intertwine.
